How does your service work?
With LocalPhoneNumbers, we make the process of buying vanity numbers simple and affordable. Search our extensive inventory using our vanity search engine to find the perfect number. Our search engine allows you to specify the area code, state, word, letters, or number sequence you want to include in your phone number and run a search for options with that term.
Once you’ve selected and purchased your number its yours to keep. We will email you the account credentials and transfer instructions within a few hours. You would then call your carrier to begin the transfer process. Generally, the transfer proces is completed within 48-72 hours.
Is your service legal?
Yes, our service is 100% legal and we adhere to all FCC guidelines.
Does the number I purchase belong to me?
Yes. It belongs to you the same way your current number belongs to you. You can take it with you to any phone provider you.
The price is a one time fee or monthly?
We charge a one time search and acquisition fee to help you source, acquire and transfer your new number to the carrier of your choice for you to keep for a lifetime.
I want to buy a number. How do I do it?
Take a look through our store, find your new number, add it to your cart, and then proceed to checkout. After your payment has been processed, we will contact you to start the porting process.
Why do you mask one of the digits with an X?
A single digit of the phone number is masked with the letter X to protect the privacy of the new owner. The hidden digit can be any number from 0-9. Feel free to click the “Chat Now” button to chat with one of our representatives or call our office at 844-511-1111 and we would be more than happy to look up and give you the complete number.
